Since You Na was a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a global worker in medicine, providing and directing people to physical, emotional, and spiritual healing that goes deeper than just the body. She is originally from South Korea and lived with a global worker family in South Africa as a teenager. After she came to the United States, she studied human physiology and education at Boston University and completed her medical training at Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her psychiatry residency and child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at Indiana University and now serves in various capacities as a board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist in Michigan.
You Na and her husband, Mike, have been married since 2015 and have two precious children, Gracie Hope and Micah Emmanuel. You Na enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and she also enjoys her time alone for prayer, reading, journaling, and reflection.
You Na worked with Valeo as a child psychiatrist, providing counseling and psychiatric care to global workers and their children. She now serves as Valeo's development officer, designing and leading a multi-year fundraising effort to support its mission. She hopes to see global workers and their families thrive in their work, relationships, and more.
