Dr. Kristy Ford, PhD, LMHC-S, NCC, is an associate professor in Liberty University's Department of Counselor Education and Family Studies and the program director for the PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program. She is a Florida LMHC, specializing in clinical supervision and counseling research, with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Dr. Ford’s research has focused on trauma-informed care, attachment-based treatments, Christian integration in counseling, and religious accommodation in evidence-based practice. She has presented research findings at numerous international, national, and regional conferences.  She is the practice owner and clinical director of Hope Springs Counseling Group in Marianna, FL.
